Flemming Christensen has for the last two decades integrated different disciplines like psychology, leadership, teamwork, and communication with life purpose, personal growth, life-quality, and the meaningful life.
Founder of THINK ABOUT IT and The Enneagram Institute of Denmark
In two decades, Flemming has integrated psychology and philosophy into the disciplines of leadership, teamwork, personal development, and relationship practices. He is the author of 19 books and is the developer of several tools and practices for building new personal skills. Since 2004 he has been a frequent speaker at national and International Enneagram Conferences and he is the co-founder of IEA Denmark and an active member of the board for many years.
He founded the Enneagram Institute of Denmark in 2002 after being certified by Don Richard Riso and Russ Hudson founders of the Enneagram Institute. He is responsible for training more than 50,000 students over the last decade and the highly-precise Enneagram test is now used by more than 130,000 people. During the times of covid-19 be has been training more than 2.600 students online including 1.000 high school students learning about teamwork, personal skills, feedback, and building upon your passion in life.
Since 1996, one of his biggest contributions to the Enneagram community is the extensive use of the Enneagram in leadership training and team development in business and public sector organizations. National and international companies like AbbVie, Danske Bank, LEGO, Microsoft, Novo Nordisk, and Philips are using the Enneagram to grow and expand personal excellence.
The education of Flemming Christensen
Flemming is a fully-certified teacher through The Enneagram Institute and is a certified Integral Development Coach through New Ventures West, a leading coach training school. Flemming has also studied at the University of Notre Dame’s “Executive Integral Leadership” program and the Strozzi Institute’s “School of Embodied Leadership.” He is also certified in Protreptic by Ole Fogh Kirkeby from Copenhagen Business School. Currently, he is taking a Master in Buddhist Studies.
Community work
In 2006 he was one of the responsible figures in a school project in Buthan organized by terre des home. He is supporting ATU (Akadamiet for Talenfulde Unge translated into the Acadamy for Young Talents) with a personal talent program and for several years he has been training the Leadership Team at DIGNITY a Danish organization to end torture in the world. In 2022 he and his partner Lars Karsbæk founded the ‘Initiative to promote meaningful lives’ an organization supporting young adults at the age of 15 to 30 with insights, community, and practical approaches to building a meaningful life.
